Kristen P. Cahill, Esq., is a Senior Associate with the Sklavos Law Group. She represents clients throughout Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties in all areas of family and matrimonial law, bringing a steady, practical approach to even the most challenging situations. Kristen is known for guiding her clients with both skill and understanding, particularly in high-conflict divorce and family law matters. Ms. Cahill earned her undergraduate degree from Iona University and her Juris Doctor from New York Law School.

With over 15 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation, Kristen has developed a strong and well-rounded legal practice focused on family and matrimonial law. She has handled a wide range of complex matters and is known for her ability to balance strategic advocacy with practical, real-world solutions that serve her clients’ long-term interests. Throughout her career, Kristen has worked extensively on issues involving child custody and parenting time, as well as financial matters such as child support and spousal maintenance. Her work has allowed her to support a diverse group of clients, including survivors of domestic violence, members of the armed forces, and families navigating significant life transitions. She has also represented many individuals in public service professions, including law enforcement, firefighting, corrections, and the military. Kristen is not originally from Long Island, but it has truly become home. She lives there with her husband, their two children, and their boxer, Nellie.
