What To Do If You Are Arrested

When you are arrested, you have a constitutional right to consult with an attorney prior to being questioned by the police. You must, however, exercise this right by asking to speak to a lawyer prior to answering any questions other than general background information such as name and address. Once retained, we will immediately contact the police and stop any interrogation and preserve your rights.
